Part of my daily ritual is my pre-work soy latte cup of happiness, picked up from the wonderful Bourke Street Bakery. ‘The Bourke’, as I fondly refer to it, is a tiny little establishment in Surry Hills which serves up an array of freshly baked goods and, in my opinion, the best cup of brew in the eastern ‘burbs. One of the delights of going there is absorbing the smell of oven fresh muffins, cakes and pastries. Possibly the most divine smell in the world, which is why I fell over with excitement when I discovered a new type of soy delight, which also happens to deliver the sweet scent of the bakery!
