I’ve noticed a lot of warm lip shades around the beauty counters at the minute, with the major cosmetics brands showcasing a range of coral and bright pink tones. The latest to land on my beauty desk was the lovely ‘Love Your Lips’ collection by Estee Lauder. The range is limited edition so you’ll have to rush down to DJ’s to get your hands on it!
The first thing that ‘wows’ you about this collection is the packaging. It’s all in the detailing and the overall feel is quite luxurious. The collection includes 12 lipsticks: these come in the Estee Lauder signature gold casing but the sticks themselves are printed with the word ‘LOVE’ for added specialty. The 4 glosses come in glass vials which are emblazoned with gold foil ‘LOVE’ prints. I trialled the lipstick in ‘coral kiss’, a romantic peach/pink shade which really adds punch to your pout. I’ve also tried layering this shade with the gloss in ’sweet kiss’ and ‘coral kiss’. They look quite bright in the vial but are really subtle when applied on the lips. Time to pucker-up…
